Refund Policy – Smart Tax Filer
Smart Tax Filer aims to provide accurate and professional U.S. tax preparation services for our clients. Since our services involve time, analysis, and expert preparation, refunds are only applicable under the conditions listed below:
Eligibility for Refunds A refund may be issued if:
•No tax return has been prepared, filed, or delivered.
•You cancel the service before our work begins.
•We are unable to complete your tax return due to our internal limitations.
Non-Refundable Situations Refunds will not be issued if:
The tax return has already been prepared, shared, or filed.
Delays occur due to missing client information or unresponsive communication.
IRS processing delays or rejections occur after filing (as these are outside our control).
The client changes their mind after the work has started or been delivered.
Processing Time Approved refunds (if applicable) will be processed within 7–14 business days to the original payment method.
Client Responsibility Clients must ensure that all required documents and information provided to Smart Tax Filer are accurate and submitted in a timely manner.
